ATI's FireGL'TM' to Power Latest HP Desk-Side and Mobile Workstations
MARKHAM, ONTARIO - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX:ATY)(NASDAQ:ATYT) today announced that the company's newest graphics technology will be available in the latest HP desk-side and mobile workstations.The FireGLTM V3300 and FireGLTM V7200 workstation graphics accelerators will be at the heart of the HP xw6400 and xw8400 Workstations, while ATI's Mobility FireGLTM V5200 GPU will drive the HP nw8440 Mobile Workstation.
These FireGL graphics products are part of ATI's new top-to-bottom family of accelerators based on the same advanced technology found in the recently introduced ultra high-end FireGLTM V7350, the industry's first one gigabyte (1GB) workstation graphics accelerator.

Based on a scalable architecture, all of the new FireGL products, from entry-level through the ultra high-end, feature ATI's industry leading AvivoTM video and display technology. The FireGLTM series offers a 10-bit per RGB component graphics pipeline, resulting in a finer level of detail, better performance and more advanced features. The entry-level FireGL V3300 features 128 MB of memory and dual DVI outputs; the high-end FireGL V7200 features 256 MB of memory, a 512-bit ring bus memory controller, two Dual Link enabled DVI outputs, and stereoscopic 3D output.
