Bush approves Alcatel, Lucent merger
Despite concerns, signs off on deal creating massive supplier of network hardware and software.
President George W. Bush approved a deal in which French telecommunications equipment maker will acquire Lucent Technologies in an $11.8 billion deal, the White House said on Friday.
