ATI Announces Settlement of Shareholder Class Action Litigation
MARKHAM, ONTARIO - February 7, 2003 - ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX: ATY, NASDAQ: ATYT) today
announced that it has reached an agreement for the full and complete settlement of all
remaining claims alleged in the shareholder class action lawsuits filed in May 2001 in the
United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. This litigation
relates to alleged misrepresentations and omissions made by the company and certain
directors and officers during a period preceding its May 2000 earnings warning. In July
2002, the Court dismissed all claims in the litigation except as to the alleged
misrepresentations and omissions concerning: (a) ATI's RAGE 4\RAGE 128 and RAGE 5\RAGE 128
PRO products; and (b) inventory. A Stipulation and Agreement of Settlement has been
executed and filed with the court.

workstation graphics solutions have widened the performance lead with record SPEC
Viewperf(TM) 7.0 and SPECapc benchmarks results. HP, a leading global provider of
computing and imaging solutions and services for business and home, submitted the NVIDIA
Quadro FX 2000 in their latest hp workstation xw5000 system. Based on the results from the
Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation's Graphics Performance Characterization (SPEC)
tests -- the SPEC Viewperf 7.0 and SPECapc benchmarks -- the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2000

Alcatel to Acquire iMagicTV
SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick, Feb. 7 - iMagicTV (Nasdaq: IMTV and TSX: IMT), today announced
it has entered into an agreement with Alcatel, by which Alcatel will acquire iMagicTV, in
a transaction valued at approximately US$30 million in aggregate. Alcatel currently owns
approximately 16% of iMagicTV. The transaction provides for the acquisition of all
outstanding shares of iMagicTV not currently owned by Alcatel in exchange for Alcatel
Class A American Depository Shares ("Alcatel ADSs" NYSE:ALA). The transaction
would provide iMagicTV shareholders withapproximately US$1.20 per share in value, subject
to certain adjustments based upon the movement of Alcatel's ADS price. The transaction is
subject to a number of conditions, including the approval of iMagicTV shareholders. In
separate agreements, iMagicTV shareholders representing approximately 50% of the
outstanding shares have agreed to support the transaction. iMagicTV expects the
transaction to close in the second quarter of calendar year 2003.
